iPhone App - Swine Flu Tracker

Human Swine Flu (H1N1) has been the headline story on the nightly news with the World Health Organization (WHO) bumping the alert level of this virus to phase 4, one level below being deemed a flu pandemic. Some have questioned if this virus could be similar to the flu outbreak of 1918.

As scientists work on etiology and vaccine development, patients are more concerned with symptoms, prevention and virus tracking.

IntuApps has come out with an Iphone Application known as the Swine Flu Tracker. This app tracks the global spread of the virus, WHO threat levels and ties in with Google Maps to identify global hotspots that currently have high infection rates.

The developers have submitted the application to Apple for approval. Assuming that it is approved, you should be able to download it through the iTunes online store shortly.
